You should have the following put to memory:
- the five alway-soluble ions
- Periodic Chart "family" names for certain Groups and Periods
- metric conversion factors which correspond to the prefixes:
M K d c m μ n - periodic chart boundary between metals and non-metals
- the seven diatomic elements
- the seven strong acids & the eight strong bases
- the eight 'memory' polyatomic acids:
sulfuric, nitric, phosphoric, acetic, carbonic, chloric (and bromic, iodic), chromic, and dichromic - anything that is not provided below, but which you might need on an exam
